Jon Benson is the creator of the Every Other Day Food Combining Diet (EODD). The first thing he mentions is that Cavemen always ate lots of lean meats and lots of fat and lived on average a lot longer than we do today, without the diseases we faced. He also mentions that ancient people never ate the same things or the same amount of calories each day. He mentions you need to vary your calories and food sources during each week. The Every Other Day Food Combining Diet (EODD) allows you to eat your favorite foods every week as well, like pizza, sweets, pasta and burgers like you usually eat but only at specific times. He actually believes you can use junk food to increase your metabolism if you do it right. This program involves a lifestyle approach that allows you to eat what you want to and still shed the pounds. And most traditional trainers don’t even know this. And this particular diet even works for kids.
Most professionals think losing weight is all about discipline and burning calories, and they do take a part, but Jon author of Every Other Day Food Combining Diet (EODD) says they play a very small part. This diet has nothing to do with calorie counting, which is a painful process with eventually leads to discouragement and causes you to quit. He wants you to start embracing food as your friend. He also wants you to say goodbye to your fat clothes. Jon believes in a few supplements but as a general rule discourages them.
