The 10,000 Steps a Day exercise program is part of The Diet Solution used by many modern people who need more exercise, need to look healthier and just lose weight. People generally say it takes about 2 hours or so to walk ten thousand steps depending on how fast you walk of course. This particular book is all about you getting off your duff and making small changes in your life and committing to a different exercise regimen that really isn’t too hard. And with a pedometer you’ll know exactly how many steps you’ve walked on any particular day. And the cool thing is if you walk the same path each day you only need to measure your steps the first day, and you’ll have a good idea regarding how much you’ll need to walk each day after that. But if you want to walk in a new location the next day, just use your pedometer the first time. After you’ve got your pedometer measurements for that trail just remember your starting and finishing points and walk the same path anytime you want to. This book isn’t for aspiring gym rats, but I do think it will work well with The Diet Solution By Isabel De Los Rios. Some people using this book are even maintaining a blog and noting their exercise progress and accomplishment on it.
